Street is famous for Clarks Village with a shopping centre that will please every bargain hunter. Within Street, there's the Clarks Museum and a choice of sheepskin outlets where one can buy the latest suede and leather jackets and coats. Just a couple of miles away is the ancient town of Glastonbury with its famous Tor and Abbey and for those adventurous types, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. The nearby City of Wells with its superb Cathedral is just seven miles away while Street itself is surrounded by some beautiful countryside that helps to make up the Somerset Levels.
