	<h2>The Holdsworth House Hotel near Halifax, West Yorkshire.  A luxury 4 star hotel conveniently located for exploring the Pennines.</h2>

This grand Jacobean Manor built in 1633 has been owned and run by the Pearson family since 1963. Holdsworth House stands in stunning, secluded gardens, just three miles north of Halifax in the heart of West Yorkshire’s dramatic landscape. It feels a world apart from the bustle of everyday life, providing a haven of peace and quality in an age when it is too often forgotten that the customer is also a guest. With banqueting and conference facilities for up to 120 guests, Holdsworth is the perfect venue for romantic weddings, meetings, away-days and celebrations of every kind.

In this fine, old house open fires, cosy lounges, fine antiques and tapestries create a sense of calm and comfort whilst the 38 charming bedrooms located in the award winning extension, have all been individually furnished. Dinner is served by candle-light in the exquisite, 17th century, oak panelled restaurant whilst the Long Bar has a simpler brasserie style menu.

The Restaurant at Holdsworth comprises three beautifully furnished rooms overlooking the garden. The seasonal menu is creative and stylish making the best use of fresh local produce. For the past thirteen years we have been awarded two Rosettes in the AA Best Restaurants in Britain Guide as well as featuring in the Good Food and Michelin Guides.

At Holdsworth you can enjoy delicious food and fine wines served all day from breakfast through to dinner…morning coffee and cake or a traditional afternoon tea.

<h1>Rooms</h1>
<p>All rooms are ground or first floor, with single, double or twin accommodation. Each is equipped with direct telephone, flat screen multi channel TV, hairdryer, iron & board and welcome tea/coffee trays. En suite bathrooms are finished with individual toiletries, fluffy towels and bathrobes on request.
<p>
Cots are available at a charge of £10 per night, along with z-beds for children 11 years or under at £15 per night and are only available in our Superior rooms.
<p>
Guests are welcome to bring their dogs to stay in their rooms. There is a charge of £10 per dog per night. Guests are asked not to allow their dogs into the dining areas of the hotel and not to leave them unattended in their rooms.</p>
