5 of the rooms are situated on the ground floor, for those who may have trouble with stairs. The lodge is completely non-smoking throughout.

The hotel's conference suite can accommodate up to 110 delegates, the River Rooms are available for smaller gatherings, receptions and private dining. The Patio area is ideal for breaks, barbeques and buffet lunches. The Hotel can supply sound and audio-visual equipment to order.

Grasmere House has a license to conduct weddings; a choice of rooms is available in which to take wedding vows. The hotel can arrange for a marquee in its extensive grounds if additional space is required.
