Wessex Royale
|
Description
The Wessex Royale Hotel is a delightful Georgian building built in 1756 following a similar design to that of John Wood's Royal Crescent in Bath, built in the same year. As you would expect this classical Georgian building has a Grand Staircase, Panelling and Fireplaces in abundance.
Our air conditioned a'la carte Restaurant is open from 6.30pm each evening and serves a variety of excellent food. There is a specially selected range of traditional and New World wines designed to complement the menu. The Restaurant has recently been refurbished and is open for Sunday Lunches.
All 27 rooms come with a modern and tastefully decorated en-suite private bathroom (bath or shower). Sky television and WiFi access.
The Hotel has a superb lounge with an open fire where guests can relax with a drink from the bar.
