The hotel is situated on the A2 midway between Rochester and Dartford, just past Gravesend.

From the M25: Exit Junction 2, take the A2 towards Canterbury. The hotel is 8 miles from this point, approximately 2 miles past the Gravesend (A227) exit. The exit is signposted 'Thong, Chalk and Inn on the Lake' (it is 200 meters past the Little Chef/Esso Garage).

From Dover and M2: As you cross the River Medway and approach the steep hill, take the second exit signposted Cobham/ Shorne. Follow this road until you reach a Roundabout. Take the 3rd exit which is signposted Hotel.. This road will lead you to the bridge over the A2, then turn right and the hotel is straight ahead.
