Description

In 1726 when it opened, it was called the George & Dragon. That wasn't considered posh enough so it's now the Kingston Lodge, but just as friendly as it ever was. The hotel is near Richmond Park, and if you've never seen it, you should come just for that. To call it a park is like calling the Grand Canyon a valley. It is massive and beautiful and serene and majestic. All of 2,400 acres! A definite "must".

The hotel is cosy and laid-back, the bedrooms comfortable and peaceful. Hassle is not a word you'll need in your vocabulary. There's a lovely courtyard garden too, ideal for global warming days. The Atrium Brasserie serves good food and there are some useful conference and meeting rooms if you're planning, for example, to gather the Board to plan your grandmother's first parachute jump!

This Kingston hotel is particularly sensible to aim for if you're coming into London from the South West. It's just at the end of the bypass so why traipse any further?

Our conservatory style Atrium Brasserie offers a wide choice of dishes and fine wines to complement any meal.

The restaurant's experienced Head Chef and his team takes the freshest ingredients and give them that extra special treatment. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a night out with friends, the Atrium Brasserie provides the perfect setting with its mouth-wateringly tempting menu.

The lounge bar is the perfect place for enjoying a quiet drink and light snack, with a varied menu served throughout the day. If you wish to enjoy the creature comforts of your bedroom then 24 hour room service is also available.
